This is a verbatim copy of our March 2015 newsletter
Our last newsletter seems like ages ago, and with the release of MyTimetable 3.0 coming up we thought it would be a good idea to inform you of what we have been up to the last year. Apart from growing our team to 6 people and adding some great new customers, we developed some interesting new features we think you should know about. Read more about our new features in this update and please let us know if you have any questions, comments or would like to have a demonstration.
MyTimetable 3.0 almost there
A refreshed design, selective sync, push-based calendar integrations, a new help page, better performance: the next version of MyTimetable contains too many exciting features to describe. We’ve tried anyway, and you can find the provisional release notes on our wiki.
The MyTimetable 3.0 release is planned for Q2 2015.
Exchange, O365 and Google Calendar integration
MyTimetable now offers integration of personalised timetables for on-premises calendar platform Microsoft Exchange, and cloud-based platforms Microsoft Office 365, Google Apps for Education and Google Calendar. Timetable activities become appointments in the user’s main calender, allowing students and staff to easily schedule meetings based on complete availability information, and share their presence information, greatly improving user experience.
New MyTimetable website
To better inform prospective customers of all features and possibilities of MyTimetable, we revamped our MyTimetable.net website. Take a look and please let us know what you think!
Scientia User Conference 2015
This week the Scientia User Conference is held and we know many of you will be present there. Please do not forget to spread the word about MyTimetable! You are the best ambassadors out there for our product. Have a great conference!
MyTimetable user group meeting
We already promised a user group meeting last year, but unfortunately we were too busy with MyTimetable 3.0 to organise it. This year will be different! For our Dutch and Belgian customers we will hold a user group meeting in Q2 2015. The exact date, time and location is still to be determined, but you will receive a personal invite soon. We plan to hold a UK user group shortly afterwards.
Drop us an e-mail if you have ideas for the meet-up or would like to help out with the programme.
Together with Pexip we built a great solution for distance learning that enables students to join a virtual lecture room right from their personal timetable.
