We are proud to have Leon Smith, Director of Registry Services at Manchester Metropolitan University, as the keynote speaker at the MyTimetable 2016 UK User Conference. With his extensive knowledge of academic administration, resource planning, teaching space management and scheduling (timetabling), Leon will offer a glimpse of the future of timetabling in Higher and Further Education.

In his keynote address titled “Over the Horizon: Calendaring Futures in UK Higher Education”, Leon will discuss both current challenges and future possibilities in timetabling, such as interactivity, individual customisation, and timetable delivery options.

Conference sessions

Next to many functional and technical sessions about MyTimetable, our partner Semestry will host a session titled “Smart scheduling in the cloud”, showing you how their on-line timetabling solution TermTime works with MyTimetable. Other partners attending are Pexip and Simac Education, showing how MyTimetable and their solutions can help in respectively distance learning and attendance registration.

An overview of all sessions can be found at the conference website. You are still invited to send proposals for presentations, workshops, breakout sessions, and discussions to complete the programme

If you would like to attend the User Conference, we kindly urge that you register at the conference website as soon as possible.
